Sid Morrey established his first service station in Burnaby in the 1930s. The family has been selling vehicles since 1964 — making Morrey the longest-standing Nissan dealership in Canada under original family ownership.

1930s · Our journey begins
Sid Morrey established White Spot Service Ltd. in the Marple community — a recognized Shell service station that built the foundation of what would become BC's longest-standing Nissan dealer.
1958 · BC's Mechanical Apprentice Program
Sid Morrey played a pivotal role in launching BC's Mechanical Apprentice Program. Designed to attract and nurture automotive talent, it set rigorous training standards and formal accreditation for mechanics across the province.
1964 · White Spot Datsun — car sales begin
White Spot Service evolved into White Spot Datsun, pioneering the sale of Datsun vehicles in the Lower Mainland and marking Morrey's entry into automotive retail.
1984 · Canada's longest-standing Nissan dealership
Datsun underwent a global rebrand to Nissan. Having sold Datsun vehicles continuously since 1964 under original family ownership, Morrey became Canada's most enduring Nissan dealership.
1984 · Morrey Autobody and Glass opens
Collision repair brought in-house to keep the customer experience end-to-end. Morrey Autobody and Glass has consistently earned ICBC's highest certification for quality and customer satisfaction.
2023 · Nissan Global Award — top 5 in Canada
Morrey received the Nissan Global Award, placing them among the top 5 Nissan dealers in Canada and the top 50 worldwide — recognized by Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. among their elite 130 global dealers.
2023 · First Nissan dealer in Canada with fixed pricing
